Clean Buddy Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Clean Buddy helps you keep your home clean with less planning and less guesswork. It tracks rooms, cleaning tasks, and completion history locally, then shows what needs attention now, what can safely wait, and what fits into your available time.

This policy explains how Clean Buddy handles information when you use the app. Clean Buddy is designed as a local-first app: your rooms, tasks, schedules, and completion history are stored on your device.

2. Information stored in the app

Clean Buddy may store the home-cleaning information you enter, including room names, cleaning tasks, task frequency, completion status, completion dates, and optional notes or settings.

This information is used only to run app features such as task planning, history tracking, and showing which cleaning work needs attention.

3. Data collection

Clean Buddy does not require an account and does not send your cleaning data to Fatboy Tech servers. We do not sell your personal information and do not use your Clean Buddy data for advertising.

If the app uses operating-system services such as backups, notifications, or diagnostics, those services are handled by your device platform and account settings.

4. Data sharing

We do not share your Clean Buddy rooms, tasks, or completion history with third parties. Data may leave your device only if you choose to export, share, back up, or transfer it using features provided by your device or operating system.

5. Retention and deletion

Clean Buddy keeps app data on your device until you edit it, delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. Deleting the app from your device removes the local app data according to your device platform's normal uninstall behavior.

6. Security

Because Clean Buddy stores your cleaning data locally, protecting access to your device is an important part of protecting that data. We recommend using your device's passcode, biometric lock, and backup security settings.

7. Children's privacy

Clean Buddy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
